midcenturyLA is having our first ever Photography Exhibition at our showroom in North Hollywood. We have collaborated on a project with photographer Jock McDonald to do a black and white series taken from Highway 1, which we've entitled The 1 Project.
The Exhibition will include 28 original works in black and white, as well as two large color prints, exclusve to midcenturyLA. The photos are all individually hand printed by Anspach Studios using a wet plate silver gelatin process. They are framed in black ebonized oak frames with anti-glare plexi-glass and are archivally matted. Each
print and mat are signed by artist, on verso, with location information as well.
We will be donating a percentage of profits to benefit a photography student/program in need with classes and equipment.
